Status Vision Designer 2.1

The Status Vision Designer ® is a powerful data visualization software package that serves as a sophisticated HMI (Human Machine Interface) designer for industry and manufacturing. It can also be used for creating digital dashboards and digital signage applications to display your real time data.

The new version of Status Vision Designer ® allows you to create HMI projects that can target either Silverlight 2 or Silverlight 3. With HMI projects targeting Silverlight 3, it is possible to run a project out of a browser and right on your desktop. Status is a powerful and easy to use tool for the end user that allows for the display and control of real time data as well as displaying historical data.

Status Server - The Status Server is a web service that hosts the connection to data sources used by Silverlight web applications or Windows applications created using the Status Vision Designer®. The server will move the updated data to and from the remote data source and the corresponding data source hosted by the Data Source Server. A single copy of the Status Server is installed with each copy of the Status Vision Designer®.

• Create projects that will bypass DCOM configuration as well as communicate with OPC servers that are on another domain
• Use other Status Servers as remove data sources to monitor plate data from various locations
• Display a project presenting data from plants and a central location so that corporate offices can view data from around the world using a thin client

Alarming

• Create an Alarm Server using your data source, even domain cross-domain and in a web browser
• Display alarms, choose colour for threshold displays and acknowledge alarm with your own personal comment
• Use Status Server to connect to your other Alarm and Event servers

Requirements

You will need to install the .NET 3.5 Framework Service Pack 1 and the Silverlight 3 SDK if building Silverlight Applications before using Status Vision Designer software.
