Siemens TCP/IP Ethernet OPC Server

The Siemens TCP/IP Ethernet Unsolicited Device Driver was designed specifically for use with 32 bit OPC Server products and the Windows XP/2000/NT operating systems running on Intel microprocessor based computers.

This driver will act as a simulated Siemens PLC. It is intended for simulation of Siemens S7-300. Up to 256 virtual devices are supported. The mode of communications is S7 Messaging on Industrial Ethernet (ISO 8073 Class 0) over TCP/IP as defined in RFC1006. The driver requires no special libraries or hardware. A standard Ethernet card is all that is needed. Devices require specialized ladder programming to communicate with this driver (see Master Device Configuration).
